What is your current career/job?
Fur specialist at Holt Renfrew in Calgary
What do you love most about your job?
Educating people about the fur industry when they come in & declare their disgust with fur. I also love the feeling of helping someone into a coat that they probably can't afford just for fun & seeing their face light up that I didn't mistreat them but in fact treated them as if they were a paying customer.
What is your typical work 'uniform'?
A dress or skirt of some sort with a pair of high heels. Very simple, elegant yet classy always with a burst of kelly green, hot pink, or something fun & bright.
What's your go-to look on your day off?
Not much different than my work look minus the heels.
What or who inspires you? Why?
The Hollywood women of the past.
Ingrid Bergman, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, amongst others.
I'm talking Casablanca & Breakfast at Tiffany's days mainly. The women in those days were just so polished, poised & classy. If only I could back just for one day.
What or who is your style icon? Why?
Just one? Really?!? That's a tough question....

Classy, elegant & chic.

Keep it simple.

What's your fashion must-have for this season?
3 words:
DRESSES! DRESSES! DRESSES!
Anything from form fitting, short and sexy to long flowy relaxed. Nothing makes you feel more girly or feminine than a full skirt that billows out when you spin. We all did it as little girls, do it now with your favourite pair of shoes & relish in being female.
What is one item you think every woman should have & maybe splurge on?
A pair of high end designer pumps. Loubs, Choos, Manolos, doesn't matter the brand but the quality & compliments you'll receive on them make the money worth it.
Or a fur coat. Bought from me, of course *laughs*
What's your ideal look for attending a wedding/concert/BBQ or summer event this year? Name the event you have chosen.
Wedding of my best friend, Greg, also my son's godfather. I decided to wear a dress I bought in Cancun a few years. Pairing it with my white Gucci patent leather & cork wedges & a white cardigan for the ceremony which is easily removable for the reception.
The dress looks fantastic with either a pair of turquoise or white flip flops or a pair of heels. One of my all time favourites!
What's your favorite can't-live-without beauty product?

What book would you recommend as a must read?
A book written by an Australian man who experienced great hardships at the start of the 1900s. He taught himself to read & write so the book is written in very simple English.
What movie would you recommend as a must see?
The acting & costumes are impeccable.
What are you listening to on repeat lately?
Depends what time of day we are talking about. Mornings seem to consist of the Fierce Angel Crews Beach Angel 2007 disc 2. Late afternoons of Michael Buble & evenings of Adele or U2.
Give B&B ladies one piece of advice...
Leggings are not to be worn as pants EVER, unless you're in the yoga studio. No ifs, ands, or butts. :)
ALSO, if you are not comfortable in heels & find yourself struggling to walk in them, easy solution....don't wear them. You can be stylish without heels & will look a lot sexier in flats than in heels looking like a baby giraffe learning to walk.
