I've missed you!

I've been a busy girl - Fall buying, working on a new store layout, forever & endlessly unboxing & steaming the new spring merchandise!

Stick in there some time for myself, family & friends  - & you get no blog love!

I apologize.

Even though there's still snow on the ground you can feel Spring in the air, can't you?

But let's be honest - does the snow have to hang around this long & still be falling?! 

Nah, I don't think so - completely unnecessary.

The March blahs are the new January blahs.

Spring fever can be a variety of things.... 

For some it's cleaning - whoever that is...?  Never understood that one.

For some it's new flings & dating.

For others it's patios, concerts & picnics with friends.

& I know it's not just me that requires flirty new frocs for any of these things.

Cleaning & a new dress?  Why not?

We all know by now in our lives that these things don't always roll out in actual life the way they did in our minds....we may get rained out, have a spill, maybe a little spat with our friend & of course, there's always a mean boy or two in those dates...

BUT the outfit usually goes as planned - let's face it - it can be the best part!  

You may have gotten rained out on that double date picnic, the concert may have sounded horrible & all with that set up date who turned out, apparently, to have crawled out from under a rock where he left his hygiene & manners.....

But you looked good, didn't you?

Now, I can't help you with your Spring fever flings & how they will play out BUT I can help you with that 'other' type of Spring fever - you know - the good one.

New Spring clothes!

In the wise words of Ottis Redding ~ girls they do get weary, wearing that same old shaggy dress...

Don't let that be you.  I couldn't bare the thought.

So until the boys learn to be nice, I'm here for you....

It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  

And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
